On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:

Twelve tallow candles,
Eleven clocks a-striking,
All of ten whole dollars,
Nine sweet potatoes,
An eight horsepower thresher,
Seven furs for trading,
Six "Lone Tree" seedlings,
Five. Little. Cakes.
Four calling cards,
Three (parched) grains of corn,
Two red wool mittens,
And a sleigh ride across the prairie.
